About Us

Kristi Sullivan is the founder of Sullivan Financial Planning, LLC. She has been helping people achieve financial security since 1996.  After graduating with a B.S. in Business from Colorado State University, Kristi worked for Great-West Life in the employee benefits department for three years. This experience gave her a strong background in 401(k) plans, Flexible Benefit Accounts, and group medical plans.  It was during this time that Kristi obtained her Life and Health Insurance License and her NASD Series 6 license.

Departing for Fidelity Investments in 1998 gave her the chance to learn more about financial planning on a personal level. In her nine years at Fidelity, her duties included operations, compliance, financial planning, and teaching investment classes.

Along the way, Kristi developed a love of helping people solve their financial puzzles during various stages of their lives. Sullivan Financial Planning, LLC was formed in 2007 with the goal of providing clients exactly the type of help they needed, without the pressure of corporate quotas or sales numbers directing the recommendations.

Kristi has earned the distinction of Certified Financial Planner™ and holds her Series 65, Series 7, and Life and Health Insurance Licenses.

When not helping her clients, Kristi enjoys a full personal life. Her great joy is her family: husband Sean, and children Brian and John. Her parents, sister, nieces, nephews, and in-laws all live in the Denver Metro Area. She enjoys her monthly book club, skiing, travelling, and volunteering.
